Who

I was coming up to retiring and you cannot simply live on fresh air. You have to have savings and something to fall back on for security. It is worrying when you don’t have a lot of savings set aside, especially if you are by yourself.

What

Definitely – in the beginning you have thoughts of maybe it is too good to be true. Once I had spoken to Arran though, he gave me the impression he would never get involved with anything dishonest, he was upfront and straightforward from the start.

When

Really good. I’ll just be leaving them alone to make money and have a little review of them in a decade or so. All I have I have worked for, I didn’t have rich parents who left me lots of money. If I had more money I would invest in more student accommodation. I’m really glad I did them, and I am realising that more and more because at least I have that money coming in.

Why

Patricia was working in Abu Dhabi went she first made contact with us. As a first time investor, it took about six months of regular conversations before she felt comfortable in proceeding with an investment.

How

Patricia acquired two student property investments in Liverpool for £42,000 each with a five year rental assurance of 8%. She purchased them off plan in 2013. We assisted her with the resale of one of the units for £46,000 in 2015 which allowed her to have some extra money to visit her family in Australia.

Results

It only took three weeks to find a buyer for her student property but the legal completion took three months because of delays form the solicitors. We were delighted that she was able to enjoy two years of steady income and realise a profit from the sale.

Who

I found One Touch by using search engines. I looked at One Touch and a number of others as well. I was quite specific with what I wanted at the time, and the property investment consultant came back to me quickly. I think I made an enquiry in the evening and he got back to me the next day. The property investment consultant was very good in terms of listening to what I wanted and delivering things that were relevant to what I was after.

What

Out of all the emails about half got back to me and only a couple of others followed up with a call. Some only replied after a week and by that time it has gone a bit cold and you’ve already progressed with other companies.

When

I have another portfolio but it was my first venture into student property. It’s very different, you’re buying for a return so the investment is slightly different. I quite liked the net yield return, I thought it was very good. We had more questions and the property investment consultant was very competent in being able to answer those.

Why

Nick is an experienced investor and runs his own business. He asked very sensible questions and needed quick response to his queries. We worked around his busy schedule and had our initial conversation out of normal office hours.

How

We listen to customers and try find the closest match to their requirements. That way they feel comfortable in moving forward. Nick is a Leicester City football club fan and knows the city well. Fortunately, we had a great student development called Primus Place at that time. He acquired a few units and referred a friend though our Prosperity Program so we were able to get a small discount for him.

Who

Andrew Bennie found us through a financial share investment website. He was looking to build a passive income stream to bolster his pension when he retires.

What

We have helped Andrew sell one of the student properties that he acquired a few years ago through us. He reinvested the proceeds in a luxury care home suite with a secure 10-year lease with 10% net income. He is building a diverse property portfolio in some of the most robust property sectors.

I decided to because of retirement, I wanted to invest to give me an income. I was looking to invest money wisely for the future – not blow it all on holidays.

What

I wanted to find a company that was easy to talk to and answered all my questions. Someone who was contactable and well-informed. These days you can’t know who to trust. You need to build confidence in who you are dealing with, as there are so many scammers out there. Once you have developed trust with someone, that’s everything. I feel like I can trust One Touch Property 100%. If you get the right people to invest with, it helps a lot. The investment with One Touch has been brilliant so far. Honesty is the most important thing.

When

My initial investment fell through, I’m not sure why, I think there was a technicality with the legal documents. One Touch were honest and I felt like I was being protected from buying property I would have had problems with further down the line. It was then suggested that I invest in car parking spaces and that’s been very positive so far. If I did have any spare money to invest I wouldn’t hesitate coming back to One Touch because I know I will be treated properly.

Why

Graham started looking at a property on the coast (Newquay) fell through so then started looking at car parks or Pembroke student property. Decided to purchase 3 car parking spaces on the 22nd April 2016.

How

Wanted safety and also that he is able to sell the units off in chunks if he needs funds.

Results

All worked out very well so far. Income has been received and still very happy with the investment. In fact, it worked out so well that Graham bought another car park on 11/06/16 as he came into some additional funds.
